Single of the Week May 29/2017: Lesya Rayman "Forget It"

Our new SOTW this week is "Forget It" by by russian alt/indie rock/underground musician Lesya Rayman.

The song is taken from her upcoming debut album 'Going Up', which is currently in the works and where she plays all the instruments, she has no producer at the moment.

Lesya was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, she writes poetry since her childhood, and she graduated from college (photographer). She also loves to draw, sculpt scary dolls, fishing, and she's very interested in entomology.

Her list of influences includes: The Cure, Nick Cave, David Bowie, Nirvana, Jack White, Iggy Pop, L7, The Rolling Stones, Siouxsie and the Banshees, AC / DC, Placebo, Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, Garbage... and more.

About her music, she explains: "My music is really different. And I can't rank myself in any particular genre...I don't know...just rock."
